21 KB swings 24/16kg
21 Burpees
Run 200m on sand
15 KB swings 24/16kg
15 Burpees
Run 200m on sand
9 KB swings 24/16kg
9 Burpees
Run 200m on sand

If running on normal ground eg not on the beach run 400m

Todays 6am session will be a Strand Session, rather than the hill, meeting at the Pullups Bars between the Playground and water park for a 6am start

Are the strand sessions swimming or running or both?

Kettlebell work on the sand, some running but NO swimming, its still stinger season. And not sure if that Croc is still hanging around, so definatly no swimming

While we were doing handstand practice on Thursday morning Fiona picked up on my lack of shoulder flexibility.

Can anybody give me some advice on how I can improve this?

I ended up just doing 30 laps (equal to a 3k run?)fiona. My shoulder felt good,I got into a good rhythm so I kept going. I'll add the K B swings and burpees next time. Thats my next challenge: to be able to do burpees without getting up and down like a beached whale... and be able to co-ordinate the two movements better.....

Mick there are quite a few ways but rather than stretching(which no one really does even though they say they do) I would suggest working on your kipping pull up, the hanging position with hips and armpits forward is a great active stretch for the shoulders and it is good to spend time working one of the most used movements in Crossfit.

Don't force the position though just aspire to improve on where you got to last time.

If you can get to tomorrow's session we can have a play with it.

Thanks Brett, Unfortunately I generally can’t make Saturday mornings. The kipping pull up is something that I’m very keen to work on. At the moment I do more of a kicking pull up and I’m not sure how to get that smooth transition from the down to the up motion, I lower slowly, which I think is not right, then sort of reset at the bottom and come up again with a kick.

Robin, I'll be there Tuesday, I'm keen for some farm fresh eggs if you still have some

I would definitely like to get 5 dozen eggs from you over the next 2 weeks if possible.

You may recall I mentioned this some time ago.

No Scott, I hadn't forgotten about your eggs, I have a spare 6 dozen at the moment but I will be able to have some fresh ones for you closer to when you want them.
