Today I made sure I didnt stop between any of the sets and even did the runs without stopping/walking and it made a difference to my final finishing time. Better to keep running slowly and keep a rhythm than stop and start. It also helps when deadlifts and situps are excerises I can do easily! I will be away for a week at the Cert 1 in Brisbane and then at a conference in Adelaide but I'm going to fit in 3 Wods at CrossFit Adelaide so theres NO STOPPING to my routine. I also want one of their cool HEAPS FIT t-shirts!
was aiming for 4 minute rounds, but just didn't quite have enough gas in the tank...was touch n go on all the DL's except for the last set which was 3 sets of 10.... All good but, not have a bench mark to work off.
This workout tested me mentally. My chicken legs were reasonably OK after the Beep Test w/up but the Deadlifts and more running started to take its toll.
Finished with a raging headache that lasted all day and tender hamstrings this morning.
Scott & Rik , my hamstrings woke me up this morning, then i rolled over and my abs joined in.
Scott in regard to the headache, stretch your neck and massage your traps and shoulder , you may find that tighness in them (from the deadlifts) is what is causing the headache
I must have been sandbagging without knowing it....
Was going to go into work early and do Linda, but decided against it since i had 5 hours of sorting out paperwork to enter into a computer, now that was fun....NOT... i'd rather do a Painstorm......

Scott, I'm must going soft too. That workout hurt, and today my hamstrings are very, very sore ;)
