Sunday 7th September

"Linda"

10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 reps of the triplet:

Deadlift: 1 1/2 body weight
Bench press: body weight
Clean: 3/4 body weight

Set up three bars and storm through for time.

  1. Linda is a perfect example of a workout that should be scaled to your ability(they all should in truth). I got greedy with Linda yesterday and had a crack at her Rxed so DL 132, BP 88 and Clean 66. I have a niggling Lower back injury that is not so niggling after yesterday - I had to stop due to Sharp pain in the 4th set of deads. I am sure it will come good but my next Linda will be done at about 1/2 Rx then I will work up to her slowly again.

    Learn from my mistake don't let the desire for a PB exceed your desire to do this for a long time to come.

    PS. I am away this weekend at a wedding in Newcastle so Reek and I won't be at Sat Class - Have fun!
